TUDOR introduced the 41mm Black Bay in 2012. In 2016, it replaced the ETA movement with TUDOR’s Kenissi-manufactured movement. Last year, TUDOR debuted a revamped version of Black Bay in Burgundy: the METAS-certified caliber and the five-link bracelet are the previous year’s reference highlights.
This year, TUDOR is introducing a black version of the Black Bay, which is very reminiscent of the TUDOR Submariner that fans have been asking for.
Continuing the legacy of the previous year’s Burgundy model, the new Black Bay offers the same three T-fit clasp strap options: the five-link bracelet (as seen on the recently introduced Black Bay Chrono Pink Edition), an Oyster bracelet, and a rubber strap. It maintains the 41mm case and Master Chronometer-certified caliber MT5602-U. In terms of specifications, it retains the 200m water resistance rating, a domed sapphire crystal, a 60-minute unidirectional dive bezel, and a screw-down case back and crown.
