Jaeger-LeCoultre Duometre Heliotourbillon Perpetual

This year, Jaeger-LeCoultre is adding three new Duometre to the collection. Here, we are looking at the Duometre Héliotourbillon Perpetual.

The Héliotourbillon Perpetual features a unique tourbillon mechanism, an evolution of the Gyrotourbillon. It was designed to compensate for gravitational effects on all positions. It is constructed with three titanium cages, set at angles to each other, spinning on three axes, and weighing less than 0.7 grams. The first two cages complete their revolution in 30 seconds, while the third one does it in 60 seconds.

The watch is powered by JLC Caliber 388. The movement features a perpetual calendar with a large date display, four-digit year indicator, moon phase, hour, minute, and second hands.
