Reminiscent of De Bethune, this version includes a day and night indication with a small three-dimensional globe that rotates around its axis once every 24 hours. This luxurious timepiece boasts an 18-carat Armor Gold® case and an Obsidian dial, while a hand-wound IWC Calibre 81925 movement keeps it ticking. The escapement for this movement is a hacking, flying tourbillon. The escape wheel and pallet are made from silicon and treated with IWC’s Diamond Shell coating to reduce friction, ensure smooth operation, and allow for an 84-hour power reserve.
