Jaeger-LeCoultre Duometre Quantieme Lunaire

Jaeger-LeCoultre’s groundbreaking Duometre concept, introduced in 2007 with the Duometre Chronograph, has spawned a lineage of watches renowned for their exceptional precision. In 2024, Jaeger-LeCoultre presents an updated Duometre Quantieme Lunaire (Moon Phase). Crafted for the first time in steel, it boasts a blue dial housed within a redesigned case. The timepiece comes on a dark blue alligator strap to match the dial.

The Duometre system tackles the challenge of maintaining consistent timekeeping in watches with complications. It achieves this through a unique dual-barrel design. One barrel and gear train are dedicated exclusively to powering the timekeeping function, while the other handles any complications. Despite this separation, both channels connect to a single escapement, guaranteeing a constant power flow that keeps the watch exceptionally accurate, even when complications are engaged.

The Duometre Quantieme Lunaire uses the same caliber 381 we’ve seen in previous versions of the watch.
