For the past five years, Oris has issued a special release on June 1st, the anniversary of their company registration in Hölstein, Switzerland, in 1904.
These Hölstein Edition watches are a chance for Oris to create exciting pieces that might not fit into their regular collection. This year is no exception, with a blacked-out Divers Sixty-Five featuring a DLC coating.
For their 2024 Hölstein Edition, Oris plunges their iconic Divers Sixty-Five diver into darkness. This 250-piece limited edition features a complete blackout treatment, marking the first time Oris created an all-black watch.
The familiar 40mm case is crafted from steel with a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating, achieving a deep matte black finish. This blackout extends to the dial, hands, and lume. Completing the stealthy look is a matching black rubber strap secured by a DLC-coated buckle. Even the bezel, crown, and caseback receive the same blacked-out treatment for a genuinely monochromatic aesthetic.
The Oris Calibre 400 powers the watch, boasting high anti-magnetism and a 5-day power reserve.
