To mark the 60th anniversary of its first dive watch, Oris is rebranding the Divers Sixty-Five line, which it introduced in 2015 based on a 1965 design, as the Divers Date and giving it a refresh.
While retaining a vintage ’60s aesthetic, the new Oris Divers Date is a steel dive watch with three dial colors: blue, black, and beige. It has a date at six o’clock and applied Super-LumiNova-filled hour markers and hands. A new condensed typeface was designed for the Divers collection to maintain a retro vibe.
The case is 39mm x 12.1mm with a 46.5mm lug-to-lug. The top is vertically brushed, and the sides and case back are polished. The bezel insert is now ceramic instead of aluminum.
The watch is powered by the Oris Calibre 733, a 41-hour automatic movement based on the Sellita SW260, and is visible through an exhibition caseback.
The Divers Date has 200m water resistance, compared to 100m in previous models.
The bracelet and included rubber strap are equipped with quick-release systems, allowing for effortless strap changes.
